Cd's are going extinct

First the stiffy disk then tapes and next in line is the compact disk. who would have thought it would be so soon less than 8years on when compact disk technology had only recently hit the market it may be leaving once again. All due to technology like the ipod which allow you to store whatever you want and whenever so you dont need those scratable cds anymore.

How am i going to play songs in my car if cd's become a thing of the past? this is how welcome to the new age of interface were docks are now being created that allow your phone to interface with your entertainment system, heard that one before. What about the attempt to create docks for your cars, now you can upgrade your car to play your ipod and you can listen to your favourite music wherever you wish. the interface would also mean you can download music, videos, and documents whilst in the comfort of your car so long as you are within a hotspot.

Next is definitely a video calling ipod, damn im running out of the ability to keep up with the next possible ipod inovation its almost endless but they always keep it out of the box. The gerat thing about the idea about making ipod interface bigger would mean that you would have a bigger storage capacity in the palm of your hands, yet smaller than the compact disk. 40giga-bytes as opposed to 4 or 5 which a compact disk can store. Yet the best part is that its endlessly re-writeable.

The CD is is quickly becoming out dated, but i don't think it will become extinct. Most computer software is put onto cd's. As well as musicians selling their cd's. this seems like a trend which isn't going anywhere soon.
